Winter is the reason why comfort food is so very necessary and for that I am grateful. No one wants to slurp a hearty soup, eat some piping hot scalloped potatoes, or sip a cup of decadent hot chocolate when it's warm outside.


Veggies to look out for - potatoes, butternut squash, parsnips, dried beans, cabbage, carrots, turnip, buttercup squash, delicata squash, Brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, onions.
