Have you ever had grilled peaches? I hope that you have and this post does nothing but remind you of how much you love them and that you should probably go ahead and make them tonight. If you haven’t, you need to. They are exceptional and dead easy.
3 peaches, halved and pits removed
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup whipping cream
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tbsp sugar
Mint sprig – for garnish
*cinnamon, honey or brown sugar optional*
Heat BBQ and set to low. Toss the peaches with the olive oil and place on the grill cut side down. Grill for about 5 minutes or until the peaches are warmed through, are soft to the touch and have bad ass grill marks.
Meanwhile combine the cream, vanilla and sugar in a magic bullet and whip until thick. Otherwise use an electric hand mixer or kitchen aid mixer. Be sure to not over whip, I know it’s tempting but the cream will turn into butter and won’t be nearly as good.
Once the peaches are done place them in a bowl, top with optional toppings followed by whipped cream. Garnish with a mint sprig.
