Well, it’s January again and I think we’re all feeling the need for a few more healthy options in our diets. I love whipping up a healthy smoothie for breakfast to get me going in the morning or while I’m mucking around the house on the weekends. You know how it is… it can be hard to fit all the fruit and vegetables needed into one day. This smoothie is an excellent start!
¾-1 cup almond milk
1 big handful of washed baby spinach leaves
1/2 scoop of your preferred protein powder, optional
1/2 cup cubed mango (fresh or frozen)
1 1/2 tablespoons chia seed s
1/2 of a small banana
Place everything in a blender and process until smooth.
