My friend Van has been raving about kale chips to me for months now, it’s really about time I got around to making a batch. They were so much easier and definitely more tastier than I thought they were going to be. I will be making these again soon and am excited to try out different seasonings.
Again, I was fortunate enough to have fresh organic kale from my cousin April at Durham Organics. Thanks April!!!
Kale Chips
1 bunch kale
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
Sea Salt
Freshly cracker pepper
Preheat oven to 350. Line a baking sheet with parchment, aluminum foil or a silpat. Wash and dry the kale. Chop or tear the leaves into bit size pieces after removing the hard stalks. Drizzle with olive oil and toss until coated. Arrange in a single layer on the baking sheet and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake for 10-15 min, making sure the edges don’t turn brown *I am told they don’t taste good if that happens*
